How would I describe tantra 

My view is that tantra or tantric sex is a union of two free-spirited souls with an interlinking charge between heaven and earth.  It is really a way of being.

Sexually it is a soul connection where both parties allow the ego to drop. Where both parties are ready to enter the spiritual realm.  Where one's needs are not above the other.  Where the pleasure of the partner is the same as one's own pleasure.  When two people combine to have sex on a soul or spiritual level the body moves in waves of sexual bliss.  There is a connection of both mind, body and spirit.  It is not about the end result of having an orgasm.

Tantric sex involves a couple sharing their sexual energies whilst at the same time using the universal spirit or source. As each couple tunes into the universal source they create more sexual energy which builds up and grows between the couple.

Although I use some tantric techniques I prefer to call my therapy "spiritually orientated sex therapy" 

What makes Spiritual or Tantric Sex Better ?

Many people think sex is just sex and love-making is just boring.  So what is different about tantric or spiritual sex ? Well I can tell you from  my own experience.

Spiritual or tantric sex, is so much more ecstatic and amazing than regular sex, and on so many levels, that having ordinary plain old sex would be feeling like you were barren or celibate.

Its far more empowering and exciting than kinky sex, fetishes or one-off sexual encounters that sometimes leave you with a feeling of emptiness, abandonment, loneliness and guilt.

The energies created between both sexual partners flow in such a way as they transform and allow the couple to develop new levels of emotional and spiritual connection.  Tantra encompasses so many amazing different aspects from full body orgasms, female ejaculation and men are also able to sustain longer orgasm.

However tantra is not just about about the end result of having an orgasm.  I would say it's more about "the journey".  A way of being that keeps you young, healthy, vibrant, happy and deeply contented.
